Short answer: you can get attendance from an eSSL machine in three ways: download it to a computer over the network with eTimeTrackLite, copy it to a USB pendrive from the device menu, or collect it automatically with web-based software such as eBioServer.
1. Download attendance to a PC (network)
- Connect the device to your network and note its IP address (Menu > Comm. > Ethernet).
- In eTimeTrackLite, add the device with that IP address, port 4370 and the communication key.
- Use the download logs option for the device.
- Open the attendance reports and export to Excel or PDF.
2. Download attendance to a USB pendrive
- Insert a FAT32-formatted pendrive into the device USB port. The device must have USB host support, as models such as the K30 PRO and X990 do.
- Open Menu > USB Manager (PenDrive Mng) > Download > Attendance Data.
- Move the pendrive to the computer and use the software's import from USB option.
Menu names vary slightly by model and firmware.
3. Collect attendance automatically (online)
Devices that support push data can send punches to a server in real time. eBioServer collects punches from several locations into one database, which suits multi-branch businesses.
How to print or export the attendance report
In the software, choose the date range and employees, run the daily, monthly or muster-roll report, and export it to Excel or PDF for payroll.

How do I download an attendance report from a biometric machine?
Over the network with the attendance software, by USB pendrive from the device menu, or automatically with a server such as eBioServer.
Can I see biometric attendance on mobile?
Yes, with cloud or web-based attendance software that collects punches over the internet. A local setup with eTimeTrackLite on one computer does not show attendance on mobile by itself.
Why is downloaded attendance missing some punches?
